Esther G Doyle

Esther G. Doyle (nee Shank) died peacefully at Lower Bucks Hospital on February 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was one hundred and one years old. She grew up on a farm in Elizabethtown Pa with 6 brothers.  She married Joseph S. Doyle in 1944 and raised seven children. Joseph was in the Army so together they traveled to San Francisco, Ca., El Paso Texas, Tokyo Japan, Ft Belfair, VA, and Chicago, IL. They settled in El Paso Texas. In retirement, she took classes to learn to sew, swim and use the computer.  In August of 2012, Esther returned to Pennsylvania and moved in with her daughter, Lillie and son in law, John Zanni in Levittown.  She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph S. Doyle, Sr; her daughter, Patricia Ann Rhodes (nee Doyle) and son, Joseph S. Doyle, Jr. She is survived by son Kenneth J. Doyle and wife Patricia; daughter Marie E. Crump (nee Doyle); daughter Mary L. Miller (nee Doyle) and husband William; daughter Lillie M. Zanni (nee Doyle) and husband John and son Michael G. Doyle and wife Maureen. She is survived by grandchildren Anthony J. Zanni; John M. Zanni and spouse Angela; Jonise Terrell (nee Orie) and spouse Jorge; Jesica Freeman; Justin Freeman; Erika Kilchenmann (nee Doyle) and spouse Roger; Katie Barch (nee Doyle) and spouse Michael; Garrett Doyle; James J. Doyle; Shawn Crump and spouse Jennifer, Timothy Crump; Daniel Sky; Jason Sky and numerous great grandchildren.  Relatives and friends are invited to call from 6-8 pm Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057 and again Thursday morning 9 - 10 at St Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral mass will begin at 10 am.
