Eleanor M Prusinski

October 1, 1926 — March 31, 2021

Eleanor Prusinski (nee McIntosh), a longtime resident of Bristol Pa, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2021, at the age of 94. She was born the youngest of six children in Scotland to the late James and Helen (nee Dunn) McIntosh, on October 1,1926.

Eleanor knew nothing but kindness. No matter what life circumstances threw at her, she woke every morning with love and positivity in her heart. The joy she saw in even the smallest of things was contagious. Her soul was always gentle and calm, but strong. Her advice was unmatched. She was exceptional in every way. Eleanor loved family and cultivated relationships and bonds with every generation of her family that will live on forever. She was a friend to many and loved by all who knew her.

Eleanor’s love of God shined bright through her many years of teaching CCD and dedication at St. Mark Church. She was a decades long resident of Grundy Towers and council president for many of those years. She loved to host parties and events for the residents. The decorating of the lobby Christmas tree was always a beloved tradition. Eleanor would never miss a night of bingo or a bus trip to Atlantic City. She was also a remarkable artist and a dessert enthusiast.

Eleanor leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children Francis Prusinski, Kenneth Prusinski (Lisa Gerome), Annette D’Emidio, and Lisa Royack; brother Andrew McIntosh; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her children Gwendolyn Sumner, Joseph Prusinski, James Prusinski, and Kevin Prusinski; sisters Mae and Gladys, brothers William and James.

Eleanor’s family would like to extend thanks and gratitude to the nurses and aides at Crestview Nursing Home for their hard work and dedication. Also, friend, Laverll Staller, for her care and concern shown to their mother over many years.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
