With deep sadness and fond memories, the Pescador family announces that their cherished matriarch, Elaine Mae Pescador, 81, of Levittown, PA, passed away on December 21, 2023, surrounded by her children after a brief illness.
Elaine was born in Camden, NJ, on December 9, 1942, and is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Franklin Pescador; her daughters Susan L. Pescador and Nancy A. Stuart (Keith); son Thomas F. Pescador; grandson Francis S. Macinsky (Lauren) and granddaughter Michelle L. Macinsky; and two great-grandchildren Quinn and Bennett, as well as a deep, extended group of family and friends that brought her immense joy during her life.
Leaving behind a legacy of compassion and kindness, her dedication to her family and serving others was absolute and unparalleled. To her, no act of kindness was too small to make a difference, and she was constantly on the lookout for ways to improve the lives of others.
Elaine will always be remembered as a woman on the move and willing to try new things, which continued to blossom throughout her retirement years. From impromptu city trips to regularly scheduled Bible study groups and sporting events to random local festivals, there was always something new to explore, another way to enrich life with a new experience.
Everyone who has spent time with Elaine has at least one memory that will last a lifetime; for that, we’re all eternally grateful.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, December 30th, from 10 am to 12 pm at Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe St, Bristol, PA 19007. Guests will have an opportunity to share memories at a short memorial service starting at noon.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Gift of Life, Planned Parenthood, or the Bucks County SPCA.
