Edward J Ciletti

November 13, 1930 — September 12, 2020

Ciletti, Edward J: passed peacefully at 1:15am Saturday morning September 12th.  He was 89.  Born November 13, 1930 to John and Mary of Jackson and Carlisle Streets in South Philadelphia.  Survived by his sister, Eleanor Pendergast, sons Ed Jr. (Polly), Paul and Michael (Barbara) - Grandchildren: Nicholas, Kimberly, Luca and Justin -  Great Grandchild: Logan plus many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dolores (nee Celia) and second wife Jane LaCon.  Dad was passionate about music and dancing.  Known to be light on his feet, he also loved sports and aircraft - having served in the USAF during the Korean conflict. He was a very sociable person.

We have been struggling with how to have the traditional services; viewing, mass, burial and brunch under the COVID umbrella and have gone back and forth with a couple options.  It is heartbreaking for us to not honor our father and gather as a family as is traditionally done.

Due to COVID we are having a private service to protect those most vulnerable. Once restrictions are lifted, we will plan a more traditional service and family reunion. We appreciate everyone's understanding during this difficult time.  It was a very hard decision for us.

We ask for a prayer for Edward on Friday, September 18th around the time of 12 pm, the time of his burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA 19020

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to https://www.stjude.org/.
