Dorothy Mitchell

October 17, 1945 — February 8, 2021

Dorothy Mitchell of Langhorne, PA passed away peacefully Monday, February 8, 2021 at St Mary Medical Center.  She was 75.  Born and raised in the Germantown section of Philadelphia she has been a resident of Langhorne for over 40 years.  Dorothy was a retired school bus driver from Neshaminy School District.  She enjoyed dancing, bowling at Bristol Lanes, but most of all she enjoyed traveling in her RV for her annual trip to Knobels with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband Harry J. Mitchell, Sr. of 50 years.  Dorothy will be greatly missed by her children Harry Mitchell, Jr., David Mitchell and his wife Cynthia, and Daniel Mitchell, her grandchildren Jessica, Savannah, Tara, Jade, Brittany, Tyler, Haley, Daniel, Hunter and 10 great grandchildren.  She will also be greatly missed by her significant other Don Atkinson.

Family and friends are invited to gather Monday evening, February 15, 2021 from 6 – 8 pm and again Tuesday morning from 9 - 10 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.  Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. 

Keeping with CDC guidelines, social distancing and masks are mandated indoors and outdoors.
