Dorothy B Green

Dorothy B. Green beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend departed this life February 18, 2018 at the age of 90. She was born February 10, 1928 in Royal, FL to the late Eartha Harley Pinder and LeRoy Simmons.  Dorothy was raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL where she received her formal education. After high school, she met and married Cecil Green, Sr and relocated to Brooklyn, NY.  Later they moved to Bristol, PA where she raised her family.  Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela V. Green, son Cecil V. Green and grandson Brandon M. Lamb.  She leaves to cherish her memory, six daughters Sharon Lamb, Dawn (Gerald) Davis, Phyllis Ricketts, Deena Green, Yvonne Green-Harris and Oretha Green.  Twelve Grandchildren, Darryl, Sabrina, Jolon, Jarita, RaShaun, Brock, Ryan, Audra, Makenzi, Xavier, Taylor, Morgan.  Five great grandchildren, a host of relatives and two golden friends Jean Conaway and Josephine Hutton. Dorothy was a loving no nonsense mother, devoted friend and an inspiration to all who knew her. Friends and family are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 9 – 11 am at the Second Baptist Church, 640 Race Street, Bristol, PA 19007.  Service will be at 11am.  Interment will be held in Wildwood, FL.
