Dorothy A Coon

Dorothy Ann Coon (nee: McCormick) of Fairless Hills, PA passed away Friday evening May 26, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.  She was 72.  

Dottie was born in Trenton, NJ to Paul and Ann McCormick, the oldest of six children. She graduated from Lawrenceville High School in 1970.  Dottie married the love of her life on June 16, 1973.

Dottie loved arts and crafts, especially ceramics, reading, spending the day in Lancaster and shopping.  She loved listening to Elvis all the time but especially Sunday morning gospel with her husband.  The greatest joy of her life was her children and grandchildren,

Dorothy is pre-deceased by her parents Paul and Dorothy McCormick of Lawrenceville, NJ, her brother John Charles (Chuckie) of Heltos, TX and her in laws Frank (Hank), Sr. and Ann Coon of Morrisville, PA

Survived by her husband of 49 years Clarence Coon, Sr, her son Clarence Coon, Jr. (Jennifer), daughter Christine Buchanan (Troy), her grandchildren Kyra Dexter (Austin), Ashley Hall (Kole), Nicholas Buchanan, Anthony Coon, Cassidy Buchanan, Frank Coon and her three great grandchildren Lillian Dexter, Evangeline Hall, and Henry Dexter along with many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to gather Friday morning, June 2, 2023, from 10 – 12 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Funeral service will begin at 12 pm.  Interment is private under the direction of Galzerano Funeral Home.
