Dennis Lee Gilbert

Our beloved Dennis Lee Gilbert passed away on Wednesday, March 29th, 2023. We are thankful that he enjoyed his final days smiling with his family. Denny was born on July 7th, 1983, in Bristol, PA. He grew up in Levittown and was a Pennsbury graduate, class of 2001.

Denny had a love for sports, cars, and motor bikes. He surely lived up to his nickname Denny-Dirt. Wrestling was his greatest passion during his childhood, placing first in the region at age five. He also loved skateboarding and small engine toys. He was fascinated with how small engines worked and made sure he knew how to assemble them himself.

It is impossible to fully capture Denny in a few short paragraphs. To some Denny was just an addict, but to his family and true friends, his addiction did not ever define who he was as a human being. Denny was funny, warm, loving, caring, fearless, and resilient. He would do anything and everything for the people he loved and cared for.

We always believed Denny would overcome his disease and live the life he deserved. We would give anything to have our Denny back. Unfortunately, we now hope to at least bring light to the seriousness of this disease.

Denny was adored and survived by his father Charles Gilbert and his mother Linda Brant, his sisters Aimee and Mandy, his nieces and nephews Lacey, Trevor, Briella (God Daughter) and Nathan, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
