Denise M Flaig

Denise M. Flaig, of Bristol, PA passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Chandler Hall Health Services.  She was 64. Denise was born in Philadelphia, raised in Willingboro, NJ, and moved to Bristol Borough in 1990.  She graduated from John F. Kennedy High School, Willingboro NJ in 1975 and graduated from St. Francis Nursing School.  Worked as a nurse at the Greenwood House – Trenton, NJ until about 2010.  Denise loved going to the beach and being near the water, reading and was always journaling, cooking, and gave the best movie reviews.  She was the light in every room and had a contagious energy. She loved spending time with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren the most.

Denise is preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Margaret Dougherty and also by her younger brother Patrick Dougherty.  She will be missed by her children

Chris Flaig (Renee), Michelle Flaig (Chris Anderson), grandchildren: Chloe Anderson, Cali Anderson, Jackson Flaig, Colton Flaig, siblings: Terry Dougherty, Brian Dougherty (Lynn), nephews/niece, Jeremy Dougherty (Sara), Andrew Dougherty, Bobby Dougherty, Cameron Dougherty, and her lifelong friends: Deborah Roskos and Chris LaSalle.

Family and friends are invited to gather Friday, May 14, 2021 from 6 - 8 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007.  Interment will be held privately by family. 

Keeping with CDC guidelines, social distancing and masks are mandated indoors and outdoors.
