September 7, 1967 — August 17, 2024

Wrightstown

Darlene Marie Morrow passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the age of 56 years old. Darlene was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer early in 2024 and fought this illness with courage, strength, and grace. Born September 7, 1967, Darlene grew up in North Brunswick in a home with her father Mario, her mother Janice, and her two siblings Linda and Tom. She was the loving mother to her firstborn son, Brett Anthony and to her beautiful daughter, Kaeli Michele. Although she had two children of her own, Darlene was a mother figure for many others in her life including her stepchildren Cheri Morrow and Christy Morrow. Darlene was the loving wife of Charlie Morrow for many years, and they started their journey together in Oceanside, CA. Darlene was also the loving partner to Stan Saganowski and loved his children Justin and Kaiya Saganowski as if they were her own. She was also gracefully supported by his mother, Nereida Saganowski during her battle with cancer.

Darlene held many jobs in her life but none more notable than her latest profession working for Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA. In this role, she found fulfillment and joy being able to give her endless care and compassion to those suffering a loss. Darlene is a devout believer in God and purveyor of her most famous belief that “everything happens for a reason.” We do not know why she was taken so soon from this world, but she believed that there is a divine reason for all things that are seemingly inexplicable. Darlene is predeceased by her mother Janice Serinese and her brother, Tom Serinese. She is survived by her father Mario Serinese of Ringoes NJ, her sister Linda Kasian (Kenneth) living in Millsboro DE, her Godchild and niece, Olivia Jackson of Bordentown NJ, and her many aforementioned children.

In lieu of a standard memorial service, Darlene’s wish was to have a celebration of life held for her. This celebration will be held Sunday, September 8, 2024, starting at noon at her home.

In lieu of flowers, any donations that family and friends would like to make can be made to Wishes and Wigs, 304 Hurffville - Cross Keys Rd, Sewell, NJ 08080. This foundation provided Darlene with a beautiful wig and helped invoke courage in her when she began chemo. The family would like to give many thanks to the Oncology team led by Dr. Ramy Sedhom at Penn Medicine and the Nurses and staff who made her comfortable during her long fight. Fly high Dar. We will reunite again in the Kingdom of God.
