Conrad F Berger

Conrad (Bud) Francis Berger passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022, at 86 years old. He was husband to Georgette, his beloved wife who passed away May 17, 2022, son to Conrad and Catherine, brother to Theresa, Patricia, and Paul, father to Charlene and Juliann (Edward), grandfather to Michelle (John), Brian (Melissa), Steven (Crystal), Andrew (Lindsay), Kristina (Alex), David (Elizabeth), Kevin (Kimberly), Patrick, Nicole, Austin (Ivy), and Ava, and great-grandfather to seventeen great grandchildren.

Born on October 31, 1936, Conrad met the love of his life, Georgette, in 1959, and a budding first love turned into a widely admired 62-year marriage. Working sometimes three jobs at a time to support his wife and children, Conrad was a man of simple wants and a strong sense of duty to his family. That duty never waned. He gave every bit of himself to his wife as she bravely fought cancer for ten years. Not long after that, his best pal, Bentely, went to Heaven. 

As someone who possessed an obvious zest for life, Conrad made sure to spend as much time as he could with people most important to him, his family, and friends, including the parishioners at the Faith Baptist Church with whom he attended mass several times a week. He loved going to family functions, joking, and laughing, eating, and singing. Conrad loved to sing. You could often hear him singing along to his cassette player in his room, most likely with something sweet on the table next to him. If you knew Conrad, you knew he loved his sweets. With all of it, church, parties, music, desserts, none of it meant more to Conrad than his family.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing and service honoring Conrad on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 9 -10 am at Faith Baptist Church, 1515 Wistar Road, Fairless Hills PA, 19030. Funeral service will begin at 10 am.  Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
