If you need a movie, he was guaranteed to have it. He loved to watch Godzilla, Star Trek, Cowboys and Indians, and politics. He loved to barbecue, drink coffee, fish, videos, and have family vacations. Although he presented serious, he was hilarious when he engaged with his family. He would talk about his upbringing, times he had in the military, and the birth of his children. His most recent precious moment was when his oldest daughter Taisha (Tai) was promoted to a Sergeant First Class in the United States Army. He loaded up his car and proudly rode down the highway to get there on time. While driving, he expressed it to all who would listen to him the entire ride on how proud he was. He also honored Cindy Horton as she did such an excellent job raising his children; his daughter followed in her footsteps by going into the Army. He also loved talking about Jamel on how proud he was of the accomplishments he made in life. Also, for the many grandkids, he has given him and making his name live on.
