Carole A Volponi

With her favorite Motown music playing in the background, and her children by her side, Carole A. Volponi (nee DeVito), 78, passed away at Yardley Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center on August 16, 2023.

Born October 25, 1944, in Burlington, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Accoline and Lena (Mosco) DeVito.  Carole grew up in the Bristol township area of Bucks County and became a hairdresser after graduating from Delhaas High School.

She later married and raised three children in Bristol Borough.  Carole enjoyed many bus trips to Atlantic City having loved the slot machines.  She also loved to travel to California and Las Vegas, and spending time with her children.

Carole was a sister to the late Clement DeVito, she is survived by her children Steven (Brigitte) of Dallas, TX, Stephanie of Tampa, FL and Nikki of Bristol, PA, her brother Joseph of Bensalem, PA, and many cousins.

The family would like to thank the staff at Yardley Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center for the great care of our mother.  We would also like to thank Vitality Hospice.

Family and friends are invited to gather Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 10 - 11 am at St Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am. Interment will be held private under the direction of Galzerano Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Carole’s name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, both of which Carole frequently donated to.
