Candeloro J Viglianese

August 6, 1931 — January 22, 2022

To all of you who knew John, an eulogy is not necessary because you already know how charismatic, outgoing, charming,  overwhelmingly impressive, fun loving, happy, proud, and hardworking he was in life.

John served his country as a cook in the army, stationed in Texas and he loved his work.

John was blessed with 7 children, which consisted of 2 sets of twins. He is survived by his 2nd wife, Darlene and 3 sons: John J (Wendy) from Norristown, Tony from Florida, and Mark (Sharon) from Bristol. John was particularly close to his grandson, Marty.

John loved the casinos, and was a great bowler. He enjoyed being a member of St Ann's men's club, playing cards with all his good friends there. This was something he looked forward to almost every day.

John was an outstanding chef. Shi crab, homemade blue cheese dressing, 7 fishes at Christmas, and Italian rum cake were among the offerings. He hired people at his restaurants whom no one else would hire, he would feed people from out of the back door of his restaurants long before it became popular to do that. His friend, Wadell Townsend, has so many shared memories with John and will miss him terribly.

John is leaving a huge hole behind. We who loved him will fill the hole with tears. Rest in peace, John, you left your mark, you were amazing!

Services will be announced at a later date.
