Bryan A. Mena

December 20, 1997 — December 9, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sweet boy Bryan Antonio Mena. Bryan was born on December 20th, 1997, in Philadelphia, PA and was a lifelong resident of West Bristol, PA. He was a graduate of Bucks County Technical High School class of 2016. In 2022 Bryan began his employment with Kinder Morgan where his life tragically ended. He was a switchman and a member of the United Steelworkers Union, Local 15253.

Bryan was such a sweet and loving man, son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. He had a heart of gold and an incredible, infectious smile that will be sorely missed by all those who were touched by his short life.

The simplest pleasures in life brought Bryan great joy. He enjoyed quiet nights at home with his first love and best friend Bryanna Short and he was the best dog dad to their beloved Milo and Miya.

Bryan spent his time off taking the dogs to the park, weekends with his family at the Jersey Shore, camping, playing video games, going to the gun range, and binge watching his favorite shows and movies. He was always up for a trip to the Casino or a get together with family & friends for a few drinks at happy hour.

Bryan loved to travel, especially to Costa Rica to visit his loved ones. He would sit on the beach with his Tia’s and Tio’s and would always make sure to plan a sports fishing trip. He along with his dad and Tio’s had a blast together looking for the best catch, especially the blue marlins. Those fishing trips will never be the same and his spot on the water will never be replaced. Pura Vida our beautiful boy, until we meet again.

Bryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Martin and Patricia Moldovan. He leaves behind his devastated parents, Helbert and Kimberly Mena, his sisters, Savannah and Olyvia, and his brother Dominic. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents Antonia and Anna Mena, his longtime girlfriend, Bryanna, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Bryan’s life will be celebrated with services held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at St. Ann Church, located at 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA. The visitation will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial mass in his honor. Bryan will then be laid to rest in Bristol Cemetery.
