Arlene B. Riccio
"Ric”

February 16, 1948 - April 20, 2020

On Monday, April 20, 2020 as heaven gained a beautiful-free spirited soul, we lost one of the most amazing women that touched so many lives. Arlene B. Riccio, 72 yrs young, passed away at the St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne due to complications of COVID-19. She had a contagious smile and a great sense of humor with a bit of sassiness, which was the combination that made her easy to love.

She was the definition of a mother, a grandmother, a sister, an aunt, a cousin and a best friend. Arlene had a huge heart and always cared for others before herself.

She was the daughter of the late Albert Riccio, Bristol and Evelyn Phillips-Riccio, Hulmeville. She is survived by her twin brothers, Pasquale Riccio (Kathy), John Riccio and her half-brother, Michael Crawford. She also had a special bond with her two nephews, Alex and Michael Riccio.

Arlene was a 1966 graduate of Neshaminy High School and was involved with several athletic clubs. She was a talented artist, enjoyed horseback riding, the outdoors, the beach and had a love of all animals. When she was not enjoying the outdoors, she was jumping in her car to be indoors at A.C. or the Parx Casino.

She started working at a young age. Arlene worked at various places and was not afraid of hard work. She spent many years at Rohm and Haas until her retirement.

Arlene endured many challenges in life, but she was always able to conquer them all because she wasn’t alone. She had this invulnerable strength that she derived from the most precious people in her life, which were her four children, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

She will be deeply missed by her four children; Russell Tisone Jr (Kerri) Atlanta, GA, Debra Tisone - Nemeth (Mark) Croydon, PA, Heather Tisone (Robert) Hatfield, PA and Jason Tisone (Dani) Bristol, PA. She never judged us and always accepted and loved us unconditionally.

Arlene was the devoted grandmother of Jason Tisone (Susan), Tyler Foley, Angelo Tisone, Holden Tisone, Todd Skonetski Jr., Salvatore Tisone, Graci Nemeth, Juliana Nemeth and Anthony Nemeth. Great-Grandmother to Kaitlyn Rose Tisone. She was inspired by all of her grandchildren. She enjoyed hearing about all aspects of their lives. She was an extremely good non-judgmental listener and honest because that was her way.

She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Linda Reilly; her Aunt Julia Kmiec; her two step grandchildren, Olivah Tisone and Jake Sanders; and her best friend Peggy Brady (who she will join in heaven); her lifelong friends Marilyn Amos and Ann Black. Numerous extended family members, close friends and her grand dog “Sophia-Maria”.

Funeral services will be conducted under the direction of Galzerano Funeral Homes of Bucks County. Her interment will be at St. Mark Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic services have been postponed.  Please return for updates or call the office 215-945-8484.
