Anthony L. Mormando, a skilled and dedicated self-employed shoemaker, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on March 7, 1951, in Burlington, New Jersey, Anthony left a lasting mark on those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Anthony is survived by his children, Anthony McClay and Mark Mormando; and his siblings, Elizabeth Fox, Dominic Mormando, Maryann Mormando, and Francis Mormando, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The love and support of his family were paramount to Anthony throughout his life, and their memories together will continue to bring comfort and joy to each of them.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Dominic and Helen Mormando and brother Edward Mormando, whose influence shaped the person he became. Anthony's life was a tapestry of cherished moments spent with family, laughter shared among friends, and the many connections he fostered in his community.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol - Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA. A burial will take place at St. Mark Cemetery in Croydon, PA, where Anthony will be laid to rest.
Anthony will be remembered not only for his craftsmanship but also for his kindness, support, and the love he extended to all in his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
