Anna Mae Deon

Anna Mae (Harbach) Deon of Isles of Capri, FL and Langhorne, PA, was welcomed into the hands of God on October 25, 2021, after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family at the age of 86.

Anna Mae, born in 1935 to Marjorie and Paul Harbach, Sr. in Carlisle, PA, graduated from Shippensburg Teachers College (pre-Shippensburg University). In 1957, she accepted a position to teach Elementary School for the Neshaminy School District at Walter Miller. While residing in Bristol Borough, Anna Mae met the love of her life, Pasquale “Pat” Deon, to whom she was married in 1958. Anna Mae was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and Nana.

Anna Mae loved spending time with her grandchildren and playing board games at her home in Cape May. She enjoyed her weekly pinochle games with her friends at her home in Isles of Capri Florida, especially her lifetime friend, Gail.

Anna Mae was proud of her family and insisted on hosting all holiday get-togethers in Langhorne.

Anna Mae was predeceased by her loving husband, Pat (2008), and her brother, Paul Harbach Jr. (Jean).

Anna Mae is survived by her loving children, Mark (Denise), Michael, Lisa, Vincent (Grace) and Christopher (fiancée Sharon), her grandchildren, Angela (fiancée Jesse), Sarah, Paige, Michael, Jr., and Aubrey. She is also survived by her sister-in law Jean (Charles) and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to invite family and friends to celebrate her life. A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening, November 3rd from 6-9 p.m. at St. Ann’s Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday morning, November 4^th at 10:00 a.m., also at St. Ann’s Church.  There will be no calling hours prior to the Mass.

During her lifetime with her loving husband Pat, Anna Mae was involved heavily in her community. In keeping with her wishes, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Bucks County Foundation (P.O. Box 2073, Doylestown PA 18901).  The family will ensure that the donated monies are directed to Anna Mae’s favorite charities.
