Alonzo C Jorden

Alonzo Cornell Jorden was born January 7, 1955 in Cambridge, MD.  In 1960 family moved to Bristol, PA.  He attended Bristol Borough Junior and Senior High School.  He enlisted in the US Airforce and spent several years serving our country.  He eventually settled in Seattle, Washington; and became a husband and father of two. In his later years he spent an abundance of time traveling between the East and West Coast.  Alonzo, affectionately known as “Lonzi” by his family and close friends was kind and humble, he was truly larger than life and such a benevolent man.  Lonzi was the type of person who marched to his own beat, he was a free spirited person with a gentle soul.  He would help anyone in their time of need.  If he had it to give he was there to give it.  He took pride in his time spent serving his country. He leaves behind his mother Jean Conaway, daughter Seneca Eastman and son Derrick Jorden of Seattle, Washington. Five grandchildren, siblings Virginia Derricott, Betty Strickland; Kevin Conaway, Lester Conaway, Larry Conaway, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 9 - 10 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.  Service will be at 10 am.  Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
