Alexander Black

October 9, 1941 — December 4, 2018

Alexander Black of Fairless Hills, PA passed away suddenly on December 4, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.  He was 77.  Born in Kilmarnock Scotland, he immigrated to the United States when he was 10 years old and then was raised in the Olney Section of Philadelphia.  He was a retired employee of Drakes Cakes where he was a Fleet Mechanic.  Al enjoyed gardening, camping, working on cars, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his loving wife Ann Black of 49 years.  Al will be greatly missed by his loving children, Brian Black and his wife Heidi, Lorie Stephan and her husband Rich, David Black and his wife Linda, his grandchildren Brian, Michael, Ashley, Christopher, David, Thomas and Alyssa and his great grandson (Brian) Swifty.  He will also be greatly missed by his cousin Mary.  Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday, December 14, 2018 from 10 am – 12 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.  Service will be at 12 pm.  Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Alexander Black, please visit our flower store.
