Albert Edwin Davies

Albert Edwin Davies (Poppy) of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Jefferson Bucks Hospital surrounded by loved ones. He was 85. Albert was born in Camden, NJ on July 10,1938. He served in the Army from 1958 to 1962. Often speaking of his tour in Europe. He lived most of his life in Roxborough until moving to Levittown to be closer to his grandchildren. He was a great poppy. Every moment spent with his family he treasured. Albert was a lover of nature and gifted with a green thumb. Tending to plants and flowers was his specialty. He loved taking walks in the park spotting different species of birds and then coming back to describe his encounters with hand gestures and all. Albert loved the ocean and spending time on the beach at Long Beach Island, NJ. A Philadelphia sports fan and huge supporter of Penn State football. He looked forward to annual fishing trips with the boys even though he was better at tangling a line than catching a fish. He spent many years as a maintenance mechanic, later retiring as an elementary school janitor. He is survived by his daughter Diane Davies-Dixon (Keith), five grandchildren, Austin Davies, Olivia Dixon. Alicia Bowers (Joe), Breanna Dixon, Amber Utz (Chalie), three great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Sean, and Donna Utz. He will be missed by many.
