Albert C Benedetto

Albert C. Benedetto, 87, of Levittown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family on January 2, 2023. Al was born on August 13, 1935, to Charles A. Benedetto, Sr., and Florence (Perna) in the Overbrook Section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Al was predeceased by his wife, Geraldine (Kravitz), parents, Charles and Florence Benedetto, and brothers, Anthony Benedetto and Charles Benedetto, Jr. He is survived by his four daughters: Geri, Robin (Vince), Karen, and Michelle (Ed), grandchildren, Nicole M. Henninger (Tyler), Michael A. Tosti (Rachel), Jennifer R. Morris (Dennis), George A. Berdomas (Michelle), Thomas Henry (Alexis), Andrew M. Berdomas, and Brandon Henry. After graduating from Overbrook High, Al went on to do masonry and carpentry and worked for the United States Post Office. Al served in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. When he returned home, he met and fell in love with Geri Kravitz, and they were married for 63 years. Al and Geri were a staple in their Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood and were the proud owners of Albert’s Hair Stylist for over 25 years. Al also had a great second career as a life insurance salesperson. He then enjoyed a post-retirement career as an Executive Driver and mentor for Boston Coach. When Al wasn't working hard for his family, he was a huge Eagles and Phillies fan. He enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s sporting events and being an amazing grandfather. Al enjoyed playing golf, singing in a male choir, and renovating his homes. Al and Geri were avid campers and traveled throughout the United States in their RV after they retired, a dream fulfilled. As per Al’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. The family requests that donations be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
