Florence Stewart

Florence J. Stewart (nee: Brannigan), age 95, of Levittown passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a resident of Bristol Boro for 92 years before moving to Levittown 3 years ago. Florence was a voracious reader and crossword puzzler. She loved watching soap operas, and loved watching Jeopardy, and almost always knew the answers. She had a wicked sweet tooth and had a particular weakness for chocolate. She is the devoted wife of the late Henry C. Stewart; and mother of the late Susan Embessi. She will be greatly missed by her granddaughters Renee Stewart and her husband Derek of Levittown, Suzanne Sabo and her husband George of Levittown, and Jennifer Johnson and her husband Robert of Lake View, NY; and great grandchildren Spencer, Avery and Ella Stewart, Madison and Nicholas Heaton, Gabrielle Sabo, and Kyle and Paige Johnson. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sat., 9:15am, at Harriman United Methodist Church, 1700 Wilson Avenue in Bristol Boro. Funeral service will begin at 10am.
