Agnes DiTanna

Agnes DiTanna, age 89, of Bristol Boro, passed away on Sat., November 6, 2010, at home after a lengthy illness. Born and raised in Bristol Boro she was the devoted wife of the late Philip DiTanna Sr. Agnes was a typical Italian who expressed her love through cooking, baking, and crocheting. She was a loving and caring wife and mother who, in earlier days, loved trips to the casino’s, and more recently loved talking with her friends on the phone. Agnes was a devout parishioner of St. Ann Church. She was predeceased by her son Vincent; her brothers Philip, James, and Michael LaSalle and his wife Norma; and sisters Catherine LaSalle, Anna Galdi and her husband Joseph, and Elizabeth DiRienzo and her husband Angelo. She will be greatly missed by her son Philip and his wife Kathy of Holland, PA; her daughter-in-law Margaret DiTanna of Olean, NY; her adoring grandchildren David DiTanna and his wife Karen, Kevin DiTanna, Jolyn Brewer and her husband David, and Jeffrey DiTanna; 2 great grandchildren Hope and Fred; 2 great great grandchildren; and her sisters-in-law Yolanda LaSalle and Josephine LaSalle. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Lucy Csatari (and the late Michael), and brother-in-law Joseph Guerriero (and the late Helen); and many nieces, nephews, and close friends, including Catherine Ryan who was like a sister. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wed., 7-9pm, and Thurs., 8:30-9:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am at St. Ann Church. Interment will follow in St. Mark Cemetery.
