Michael Forchetti

Michael T. Forchetti, of Bensalem, PA, died peacefully on October 11, 2010, at Aria Health Frankford Hospital. He was 83. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII who played with the military band as a trumpeter. He was a former employee of General Electric where he worked in electronics. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Julia (nee: Conti) Forchetti. He was preceded in death by his brothers Ernest and Alfonse Forchetti; and sisters Philomena Short, Josephine Bokeko, and Marie Lawrynkiewicz. He is survived by his sister-in-law Miriam Brookshaw of Bensalem; numerous nieces, nephews, good friends, and neighbors. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 10:30-11am at St. Ephrem Church, 5340 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem. Memorial contributions in Michael’s name may be sent to St. Ephrem Church.
