Carol Twigg

Carol A. Twigg (nee: Hartnett), age 48, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2010, at Nazareth Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Philadelphia and raised in Levittown. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1980. Carol was a former employee of CW Industries in Southampton where she worked as a clerk. She will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, and friend. She enjoyed trips to Daytona Beach, Florida, and just taking long walks along the ocean with her husband. Carol loved her pets. She was preceded in death by her father Donald Hartnett and her stepfather Dennis Leinauer. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 18 years Terri; and her mother Claire Leinauer. She is also survived by her siblings John Hartnett and his wife Janet of Bel Air, MD, and Helene Hartnett and brother Chris Hartnett both of Florida; nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her loving companions Jack, Nigel, and Muncie. Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday, 7-9pm, and Wednesday, 8:30-10am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, followed by her funeral Mass, 10:30am, at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations in her memory be made to Vitas Hospice Inpatient Care, 2601 Holme Ave., Phila., PA 19152.
