Josephine Gallagher (nee: Casmirri), age 95, passed away peacefully on Sept. 15, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Bristol Boro. She was very proud that she worked in Kaisers during WWII, where she worked on the assembly line. She was also a retiree of the Lower Bucks Hospital where she worked in the Laundry Department. “Jo” was a proud Bristolion who was equally proud of her Italian heritage and her family name “Casmirri.” She enjoyed cooking and crocheting for her family. She will be remembered as a loving, caring, and generous wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Catherine Casmirri; her loving husband Joseph; and her siblings John, Domenic and Richard Casmirri, Natalie Capriotti, and Ida Gallagher. She will be sadly missed by her children Alice Forrest and her husband James, and Louise Del Sordo and her husband Angelo. She is the loving grandmother of Maria, Tara, and James and his wife Tara; and great grandmother of Elizabeth and James. She is also survived by her siblings Pearl Dean, Rita Smith, Anthony Casmirri and his wife Dorothy, and Evelyn Starnes; an Uncle Joseph Mari; sisters-in-law Jovie Casmirri and Gertrude Evancho; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday, 8-9:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol Boro, followed by her funeral Mass, 10am, at St. Ann Church.
