Blanca Alicea

Blanca Alicea, age 77, of Bristol Boro, passed away on Sat., June 19, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Phila. Born and raised in Utuado, Puerto Rico, she has been a resident of Bristol Boro for 60 years. She was a 26 year employee of the former Red Rope Industries in Edgely. The matriarch of her family, Blanca was a strong, loving, and caring mother, grandmother, and sister. She was the devoted widow of 32 years to Modesto Alicea. She will be greatly missed by her children Margie Cordero and her husband Ralph, Nelson Alicea and his wife Rebecca, Eddie Alicea and his wife Theresa, Jimmy Alicea and his wife Maria all of Bristol, and David Alicea and his wife Claudia of Lawton, OK. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren and her great grandchildren Trinity, Felicity, and Chaz; her sisters Miriam Torruellas (Edwin), and Toni Cordero; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thurs., 9am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol Boro. Funeral service will begin 10:30am in the funeral home.
