Arthur Memmi

Arthur Memmi, age 82, of Bristol Boro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 17, 2010, at Langhorne Gardens in Langhorne. Born and raised in Three Springs, PA, he has been a resident of Bristol Boro for the past 57 years. He was a retired Production Planner for U.S. Steel in Falls Twp. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the 5th Ward Italian Mutual Aid in Bristol. Arthur was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. He loved fixing cars, rooting for the Phillies, and trips to the Casino; but most of all he loved his family. He was predeceased by his brothers Joseph, Linsey, and Villie; and a sister Blanch. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 57 years Desolina “Lee” (nee: Pica) Memmi; his children Deborah Melling and her husband Stephen of Levittown, Arthur Jr. of Bristol, Janet Gatto and her husband George of Levittown, and Karen Memmi of Bristol. He will also be missed by his beloved grandchildren Salina, Bianca and Georjenna Gatto, and Christina, Erica, Angela and Desolina Melling; his sister-in-law Josephine Pica; his brothers Abel, Paul, and Tony; his sisters Trieste, Dima, Dina, and Clementina; many loving nieces and nephews; and his dear friends Kelli and Ed Rosado and family. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, 7-9pm, and Tuesday, 8:30-9:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol Boro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am at St. Ann Church. Interment will follow in St. Mark Cemetery.
