Camille Tangora

Camille A. Tangora, age 93, of Levittown, PA, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2010, at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown. Born and raised in Yonkers, NY, she was a resident of Levittown, NY, for 5 years before moving to Bristol Township in 1953. Mrs. Tangora was a former Library Aide for Bucks County Free Library and Bishop Conwell High School. She was an active woman who often walked to the former Levittown Shopping Center. She was a member of the former Sodality of St. Michael the Archangel Church. Camille loved reading, gardening, and trips with her family to her condo in Vero Beach, FL; but most of all she loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Donald F. Tangora and her daughter Janet A. Tangora. She will be greatly missed by her children, Ken Tangora and his wife Barbara of Levittown, Donald J. Tangora and his wife Judy of Newtown, and Joann DeChico and her husband Joe of Langhorne. She will also be missed by her loving grandchildren, Christine Byers, Debbie Onisick, Karin Halikman, Gina Sciaraffo, Jill Tangora, Kelli Tangora, Natalie DeChico, and Nicholas DeChico; her 13 great grandchildren; and many nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, 7-9pm, and Friday, 8:15-9:15am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Levittown. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
