Margaret H. Berger, age 85, of Levittown, PA, passed away on April 4, 2010 at home with her family by her side. Born in Berwick, PA, Margaret resided in Levittown for the past 48 years. She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Brown (Laubach), and widow of the late Russell L. Berger. Margaret was employed with Pomeroy's department store for over 20 years until her retirement. She loved life. She enjoyed weekly bowling at Levittown Lanes for many years. She liked going to the Casinos and shopping; but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. When she moved into Galilee Village a few years ago, she met various interesting people whom she formed many friendships with. Margaret is preceded in death by her mother, husband, and grandson Sergeant Rory S. Carnahan USMC. She is survived by her son Charles Berger and her daughter-in-law Tina of Fairless Hills, PA; her daughter Barbara O’Dea and her son-in-law Sean of North Carolina; and her sister-in-law Irene Fahringer of Yulee, FL. She will be sadly missed by her granddaughters Kelli Kestel and her husband Walter, and Michelle Colella and her friend Dennis Day all of Yardley. She will be missed by the pride and joy of her life her 3 great grandchildren Brianna Colella, Charles Fisher and Brody Kestel; and also her faithful cat Baby Girl. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wed., 6-8pm, at the Galzerano funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. Interment will take place on Thurs., 11:30am, at Elan Memorial Cemetery, 5595 Old Berwick Rd., Bloomsburg, PA 17815. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in her name be made to American Cancer Society, 700 Horizon Circle, ste. 201, Chalfont, PA 18914.
