Phyllis Gitkos

Phyllis Pricilla Gitkos (nee: Kalafut), of Levittown, died 2/24/10. Born and raised in Duryea, PA,in 1966 moved to Lev. She will be remembered as a loving, caring mother who cherished times she spent with her children and grandchildren. Enjoyed traveling and was an avid bingo player. Preceded in death by parents Stephen and Stella Kalafut, and beloved husband George F. Gitkos. Will be sadly missed by her children Stephen G. (Robin) of Naples, FL, Ann Woodruff (Patrick of Fairless Hills, George M. (Penny) of Warminster, and 9 grandchildren Stephen Gitkos, Jeffery Gitkos, Michelle Woodruff, Patrick Woodruff, Nickolaus Woodruff, Larry Vanchure, Crystal Vanchure, Summer Lee Engleman and Jonathan Howe. Also a brother Jerome Kalafut (Mary) of Roanoke, VA and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Mon. 8:30-10am at the Galzerano F.H., 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Rd., Lev. Followed by her Mass at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Church. Grave service and burial on Tues. 12noon at Holy Rosary Ceme. in Duryea, PA.
