Gregory Knox

Gregory C. Knox, Sr., age 48 passed away peacefully on February 14, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Langhorne, he currently resided in Yardley. He was a talented master carpenter and general contractor. Greg was an incredible person with a wonderful sense of humor who had a heart of gold. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan who also enjoyed spending time with his family at the shore. He was preceded in death by his parents John C. and Irene (nee: Gatton) Knox. He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife of 22 years Jane (nee: Runey) Knox. Beloved father of Gregory C. Knox, Jr. and his wife Christine, Michael Knox and Andrew Knox, loving pop-pop of Alexis, McKenzie, Gregory C. III. Also, he is survived by his father John Knox and his wife Anne and his mother Irene Knox, his father and mother in law, Joseph and Anna Capizzi, his brother John Knox, three sisters: Debbie Steubing and her husband Pete, Sherrie Knox and Stacy Shetzline and her husband Buddy, 2 brother-in-laws Joseph Capizzzi and his wife Rebecca and Ernie Capizzi and his wife Tunde, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, and his life-time friend Mike Pulsinelli and his wife Gail. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, 10-12 noon at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road. Religious services will begin at 12 noon at the funeral home.
