Thomas Snee

Thomas J. Snee, age 91, of Levittown, PA, passed away on January 20, 2010. Tom was born in Roxborough and graduated from St. John’s High School. He earned an Aircraft & Engine License and worked for PanAm before enlisting in the Army and serving overseas for 4 years as a Master Sergeant Crew Chief working on B-17’s during WWII. He was a Quality Assurance Manager for the Department of Defense. Tom was a lifelong musician. During the years that he was in high school, in the military and working, he also arranged music and played trumpet in dance bands. In his retirement, he enjoyed a second career as a singer and keyboardist; performing in local clubs and restaurants. Husband of Peg (nee: Kelley); father of Kathleen, Tim (Barb), Rita and David (Sheryl) Snee, and Chris (Kim) David, and grandfather of seven, he is also survived by his sister Mary McGrath of Media, PA. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 30, 10-11am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, Levittown.
