James Frederick

James E. Frederick, age 85, of Levittown, PA, passed away under the warm, loving care of the Delaware Valley Veterans Home on Thurs., December 31, 2009. Born and raised in Luzerne, PA, he was a longtime resident of Levittown. Mr. Frederick was a retired employee of U.S. Steel Fairless Works where he worked in the Mobile Shop. He was WWII Navy vet who served in the Southern Pacific theatre. James loved football and dancing; but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his wonderful wife and best friend of over 50 years, Sophie (nee: Sequeira); his brothers Frank Jr. and William; and sisters Anna and Jean. He will be greatly missed by his only son, Paul Frederick and his wife, Maria of Largo, FL; his daughter-in-law and mother of his grandchildren, Ruth Frederick of Levittown; his adoring granddaughters, Wendy Warner, and Amy Capuano; his 5 great grandchildren Amber, Caitlin, Kelsey, Wade, and Daulton; and great great grandson, Aidan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and his faithful dog Maggie. Relatives and friends are invited to call Tues., 7-9pm, and Wed., 9am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown where his funeral service will begin at 10am.
