Stephen R. Ciotti, of Fairless Hills, PA, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2010, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he was a longtime resident of Bristol Boro before moving to Fairless Hills 10 years ago. He was a retired Supervisor for 3-M Company in Bristol Township. Mr. Ciotti was a WWII veteran who served as a Side Gunner on a B-17 and was credited with shooting down several enemy aircraft. At one point he, along with his crew, crash-landed in Yugoslavia and spent over a year avoiding capture by the enemy. He was awarded the Air Medal with 16 oak leaf clusters. He was a former member of Sons of Italy and Bristol Moose Lodge 1169. Steve loved golfing, bowling, and eating chocolate. He was family oriented and lived for his family. He was predeceased by his 1st wife and mother of his only child Filia “Ginger” (nee: Carelli). He will be greatly missed by his loving and attentive wife Concetta “Connie” (nee: Cordisco); his loving daughter Constance “Connie” O’Donnell and her husband Bill of Gloucester, NJ; and his adoring granddaughters Jennifer O’Donnell and Erin Kate O’Donnell-Ballauer and her husband Lee. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, 7-9pm, and Friday, 8:15-9:15am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Fairless Hills. Interment will follow in St. Mark Cemetery.
