Edward Stanley Ream Jr.

Edward Stanley Ream Jr., age 77, of Croydon, PA, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2009 at the University of Penn Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in Philadelphia, he was a resident of Cornwells Heights and Levittown before moving to Croydon 38 years ago. Mr. Ream was a Korean War Veteran who served with the U.S. Navy as a Sea-Bee. He was an employee of U.S. Steel Fairless Works for over 30 years before his retirement in 1987. Edward was a former member of the Cornwells Heights Fire Co. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was predeceased by a brother Jimmy, and a sister Evelyn Wurth. He will be greatly missed by his children Deborah Weymer and her husband Raymond, James Ream and his wife Cheryl, and Robert Ream and his wife Nancy all of Levittown, and Linda Martin and her husband Mark, Scott Ream, Amber Wolanski and her husband Christopher, and Elizabeth Ream all of Croydon; his adoring grandchildren Jenn, Pam, Jim, Shawn, Lenee, Shane, Nevin, Rachel, Steven, Caleb, Hunter, Victoria, Aiden, and Cloey; and great grandchildren Christopher, Isabelle, and Kylie. He is also survived by his sisters Dorothy Ford, Eleanor Sherwood, Virginia Obenski, Betty Dube, and Dolores NcElhany; his brothers William and Raymond; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, 7-9pm, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. Interment will be conducted privately.
