Lawrence W. Walsh

Lawrence W. Walsh, age 71, of Richboro, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at home. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, he was a career U.S. Marine who retired in 1977 at the rank of MSGT. After his military career he retired from Bristol Township School’s Transportation Department after 11 years of service. It was then that he moved to Richboro where he enjoyed walking and waving to his neighbors. He was the devoted husband of the late Bettyann (nee: Braam). He will be greatly missed by his sons Larry Walsh of Peoria, IL, Martin Walsh and his wife Mary Kay of Richboro, and Michael Walsh and his wife Donna of Levittown, his daughter Lizann Gilchrist and her husband Ron of Yardley; his grandchildren Larry, Michael, Jillian, Nicholas, Sean, Issabella, and Oliveah; his brothers Edward Walsh of Bensalem, Michael “Denny” Walsh of Bensalem, Gene Walsh of West Depfort, NJ, Pat Walsh and his wife Susan of Pala, CA, and Joe Walsh and his wife Diana of Aloha, Oregon; and his sisters Barbara Walsh of Bristol and Mabel Juliff and her husband Edward of Woodbury, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thurs., 9-11am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Rd. in Levittown. Funeral service will begin 11am in the funeral home.
