Dominick Anthony Gallo

Dominick Gallo was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on November 16, 1928 to his parents of Catherine and Emilio Gallo. He and his family moved to Bristol, Pennsylvania when he was three years old. He attended Bristol High School where he was very active in the band and orchestra playing both clarinet and saxophone. After he graduated in 1945, he enlisted in the army where he continued his love for music by playing in their band. After completing his military service, he worked for Marty Greene's on Mill Street. From there, he became a buyer/seller for Pomeroy's in Levittown. He finished his working career in the unemployment office. Once retired he went to Bucks County Technical School for Horticulture because he loved to plant his garden full of vegetables and herbs. Dominick is survived by his loving sister Antonette Hall and his brother-in-law, Walter Hall, Jr. and many nieces and nephews: Carol Ann Earley, Linda Ann Kepko, Dr. Joseph Kepko, Catherine Ann Sherry, Charles Sherry, Serena Sylvester, Timothy Sylvester, Matthew Sylvester, Joseph Knisely, III, Jeanette Schreiner, Joseph Knisely, IV, Nicole Henderson, Marlee Henderson, Valarie Kepko, Michael Kepko, Dianna Kepko, Eric Hall, Tiffany Sherry, Damien Sherry, Nevaeh Sherry, Desiree' Bullard, Hailey Bullard, Adriel Bullard, and Charles Sherry, Jr. Dominick brought wisdom, joy and laughter to all. Uncle will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 6 – 8 pm and again Wednesday morning, September 13, 2017 9:30 – 10:30 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 am at St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
