Stephen R Miller, Sr.

Stephen R. Miller Sr, age 61 of Levittown passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at his home on May 24, 2017. Born and raised in Philadelphia he was a resident of Atco, New Jersey for many years before moving to Bucks County in 1996. Steve was a tractor trailer truck driver until his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed gardening, building and refinishing furniture, his “secret” scratch-off lottery tickets, and watching Law & Order SVU. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Dolores Miller. His brother’s Robert and William and sister Caroline. Steve will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Debra A (nee: Weischedel). He will also be greatly missed by his two children, Stephen R Jr. of Warminster, PA and Michelle Miller Connerton and her fiancé Scott Erikson of Levittown and his “son”, Corporal Joseph Connerton, of the Philadelphia Police Department, 25th District. Steve was also survived by his 5 grandchildren, to whom he loved unconditionally and was completely devoted to, Taylor Vaughan, Alexander Joseph, Kendall Victoria, Alyssa Mary and Brinley Grace. He is survived by his brother Albert J Miller. Steve will be sadly missed by his very close family, who he affectionately called his “Brothers and Sisters”, Michael & Elizabeth Weischedel, Patricia Weischedel, Cheryl Umin and Linda Weischedel, and his lifelong closest friends, John and Helena Scanlon. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm where a funeral service will be at 8:00 pm. Interment will be conducted privately. Steve was extremely dedicated to the Philadelphia Eagles; therefore, Steve has requested casual attire, like jeans and a Philadelphia Eagles shirt, to support his devotion to the Philadelphia Eagles. In lieu of flowers, Steve’s biggest wish was for Taylor, Alexander and Kendall, to attend camp this summer, if you would like to donate, to help Steve’s wish come true, contact the Police and Fire Federal Credit Union, Connerton Children Memorial Fund.
