George Capirose

After a long courageous battle with COPD, George passed away peacefully at the age of 69 on Saturday, May 6th, surrounded by his loving family. George was also a Lung Cancer survivor. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Norma Chiaramonti Capirose, his son, Christopher Capirose and his wife, Jennifer Capirose, his loving grandchildren, Nicole and Anthony Capirose and his little man and couch buddy, KoKo. George was born in Philadelphia to the late George and Helen Capirose and was a life-long Bucks County resident. He retired from Drywall Finishers Local 1955 and NJ State Police Civilian. He was predeceased by his sisters’ Kitty (Carmella) Pawelko and Mary Fiorelli and his brother Butch (Tony) Capirose. He is survived by his close nieces, Georgia Lynn Canty and Anita Jo Linder as well as many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. George loved going to the Jersey Shore with his family, shopping trips to outlets and going out to eat. He was a big Philadelphia sports fan. Family and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass on May 20th at 10:00 AM at St Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Pkwy, Levittown, PA 19054. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
