Mary L Bulger

Mary "Love" Bulger, an original Levittown home owner, passed peacefully in her sleep on Monday, May 8, 2017. She was 95. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1922, and married the love of her life, Bob, in 1943. They moved to Levittown where they raised their five children, Kerry Morgan, Robyn Trunell, Trish Wolfe, Tom Bulger, and Richard Bulger. She was a character until the end. She was unconventional, outrageous, and spoke her mind, whether you wanted to hear it or not. Her laugh was her signature! It was both authentic and deafening. She traveled, sometimes taking solo road trips with her cooler of diet soda and snacks, and her CB radio on. She sewed, loved dogs, and loved good gossip. Weekends in Appletree were filled with swimming, grilling, and lots of kids and dogs running around. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her daughter-in law, Kathy; granddaughter, Jennifer; and grandson, Alex. She will be missed by her five children and their spouses, along with 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Mary will be buried alongside her husband, Bob, with a private service in York, Pa.
