Frank A. Giallella, Jr.

Frank A. Giallella Jr. passed away Tuesday April 11, 2017. He was 83. Born in Trenton, NJ he was the son of the late Frank and Marie Giallella and the stepson to Carrie Giallella. He was the brother to Sebastian and Catherine of Trenton. Frank was a veteran of this U.S Army and served in the Korean War. He moved to Bristol, PA where he met the love of his life, the late June L. Giallella (Pinelli). They were married for 60 years until her passing in 2015. He was employed by Litho Strip Corporation for many years before working for the Bristol Borough School District until his retirement in 1998. Frank was preceded in death by his daughter Deborah A. Christensen. He is survived by his daughter Joanne Stone, who was his caregiver until his death. He was the proud grandfather of Melissa Lynch (Mike) of Levittown and the great grandfather of his adoring great grandsons Patrick and Jakob Lynch. Frank loved spending time with his family and having dinner at his granddaughter’s house. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing poker. His greatest joy was spending time with his great grandsons. Frank was best known for sitting on his front porch on Lafayette Street and being the crossing guard in front of the Bristol Post Office. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Interment with full military honors at Washington Crossing National Cemetery on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 11:30 am.
