Wanda S. Vattimo (nee: Hajdasz) age 98, of Bristol, PA, passed away peacefully on Holy Thursday at Chandler Hall with her family by her side. Born and raised in Camden, NJ, she was a resident of Burlington, NJ, for 15 years before moving to Bristol in 1940. A devoted mother, grandmother, and wife, she was a former member and past President of the Bristol Chapter of Deborah Hospital for many years; as well as former Treasurer of the Bristol Senior Activity Center in Bristol Borough, and a long-time volunteer of the Bristol Elks. She was predeceased by her husband Peter L. Vattimo Sr. and her granddaughter Donna Marie Matlack Brown. She is survived by her children Mary Jane Johnson of Moorestown, NJ, Judith Matlack and her husband Ronald of Edgely, and Peter L. Vattimo Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Lower Makefield. She will be sadly missed by her 7 grandchildren Roy J. Jr., Eric P. and his wife Jessica, and Christopher J. Johnson and his wife Erin, Randal Matlack, Kimberly Matlack Benton and her husband Brian, Jennifer M. Vattimo, and Peter L. Vattimo III and his wife Carissa; and 3 great grandchildren Taylor Matlack, Kylie Benton, and Maxwell J. Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and family friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call, 10am, on Friday, April 21, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe St., Bristol, PA, where funeral services will begin at 11am. Interment will follow at Bristol Cemetery.
