Charles W Olewine

Charles W. Olewine of Levittown, PA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 14, 2017. He passed peacefully at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was 63. Born in Media, raised in Levittown he was employed as a salesman for Laird Plastics. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, reading his Bible, and watching Philadelphia sports. Above all else, his personal relationship with Jesus was most important. He is preceded in death by his parents Rev. Charles and Grace Olewine. Charles will be greatly missed by his beloved wife and best friend of 42 years Donna Olewine (of Levittown), his children Christie Leisner and her husband Rich (of Levittown), and Jeff Olewine and his wife Kelly (of Pipersville), and his grandchildren, Hailey, Faith, Joshua, Ava, Matthew and Paige. He will also be greatly missed by his two sisters Ruth Frederick and Linda Rostoski and her husband Bob, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 9 – 11 am at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, 13500 Philmont Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19116. Funeral service will begin at 11 am. Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in memory of his name be made to University of Penn Heart & Vascular Department.
