Francis J Miller

Francis J. Miller of Bristol passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 85. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ. Graduated St Johns High School. He proudly served his country on active duty for 20 years. Initially enlisted in the US Coast Guard for three years then enlisted in the US Navy and retired as a Chief Hospital Corpsman serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars with the Fleet Marine Force and Marine Air Wings. Affectionately known as “Doc” by his Marines. Frank was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, golfing, and was an expert shot, but most of all he was a devoted family man who cared for his family and friends. Francis is preceded in death by his parents Grace and Phillip Di Giuseppi and Francis J. Miller. He is survived his wife of 61 years, Tomie Miller, his son Michael Miller and his wife Martina, granddaughters Francesca Miller and Michelle Sullivan (Ryan), Great Grandsons Brendon and Gabriel Miller and Maverick Sullivan. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 9 - 10 am at St Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am. Interment will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
