Margo E Alber

Margo E. Alber (nee: Boone) age 71, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2017 at Silver Lake Nursing Home in Levittown. Born in Philadelphia, and raised in Havertown, she was a graduate of Havertown High School Class of 1964. She was a former employee of Pathmark in Upper Darby where she worked as a cashier. In 2009, she moved to Levittown to live closer to her daughter and family. She will be remembered as a generous loving, caring, and giving mother, grandmother, sister, and good friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Margaret Boone. She will be greatly missed by her children Karen Barton and her husband Bernard, and Eric Alber and his wife Christene; her step-daughters Denise Alber and Tina Zimmerman and her husband Bryan; and her grandchildren Bernard Barton III, Zachary Alber, and Savannah Alber. She is also survived by her sister Alice Ippolito and her husband Anthony; her brothers Daniel Boone and his wife Dorothy, and George Boone and his wife Joan; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 10 – 11 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Funeral service will be at 11 am. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
