Donald J Young

Donald J. Young of Bristol passed away peacefully on March 3, 2017 at Lower Bucks Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was 82. Born and raised in Philadelphia he was a graduate of Roman Catholic High School and a United States Marine Corp Veteran. He was employed as a sheet metal worker for Union Local 19 until his retirement in 2000. Donald enjoyed golfing, taking trips to the Atlantic City Casinos with his wife, going to dinners with family and friends, photography, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Virginia Young and his daughter Bunny. Donald will be greatly missed by his loving wife Roberta of 33 years, his children Virginia Katsourides and her husband Andy, Dennis Young and his wife Denise, Andrew Young and his wife Jayne, Jacky Foley and her husband Pat, Lorraine Cullen and her husband Steve, Leslie LaRosa and her husband Bill and his 13 grandchildren. He will also be greatly missed by many good friends especially Steve McPherson and his wife Carol. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 10 - 11 am at St Ann Church 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral mass will be at 11 am.
