Rosemary Downey

Rosemary Downey of Bristol Boro passed away peacefully on December 21, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was 89.  Born and raised in Blandburg, PA. After her marriage, she moved to Jackson, Ohio. She moved to Bristol Borough in 1963. Rosemary enjoyed cooking, baking, crossword puzzles, embroidering, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.  She is preceded in death by her husband Clay Downey Sr., her son Clay Downey, Jr., her three grandchildren Kenny, Robert and Billie Jo, her lifelong companion Harry Koble and her siblings John, Michael, Joseph, Frank, Walter, Charles, Johnny, Theresa, Mary and Annie.  Rosemary will be greatly missed by her children, Kathryn Simpson and her husband Kenny, Robert Downey, Bonnie Bascio and her husband Angelo, her grandchildren Terri, Tonya, Lisa, and Kimberly, her siblings Katie, Helen, Stella, Christina, Nicholas (Louise) and Jimmy, and many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren.  Interment will be held privately in Beverly National Cemetery at a later date.
