Linda Kowalyshyn

Linda (Buchan) Kowalyshyn of New Hope, PA passed away peacefully on November 21, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was 56.  Born in Greenock Scotland, raised in Levittown, PA.  She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Bucks County Community College, Holy Family University and BCCC Nursing Program.  Linda had worked various positions in the medical field at Lower Bucks Hospital, Doylestown Hospital, Holy Redeemer Hospital and most recently, she was employed as a substitute school nurse in the Bristol Township School District.  Linda enjoyed traveling, art, meeting new people, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.  She is preceded in death by her mother Rita Buchan and her in laws Stephen and Martha Kowalyshyn.  Linda will be greatly missed by her loving husband Michael, her father Andrew “Scotty” Buchan, her sisters Alison (Carmen) and Andrea (John).  She will be also greatly missed by her nieces and nephews Lindsey, Derrick and Shane Marchesani and Olivia Vaughan; her Goddaughter Erica James and her loving dog Simon.  Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 10 – 11:30 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.
